The SRPS in Bo'ness mark the centenary of there restored 100 year old ex Garnqueen South junction Signalbox in 1999 and also the unveiling of the Westinghouse Signalling Award plaque . Filmed here on a dry but windy day,and I do apologize for some of the poor sound quality. The first train was signalled away from Bo'ness station by Norman 'Norrie' Morrison, the man who pulled the levers for the last time before the signalbox's closure by BR over 15 years ago. Formerly sited at Garnqueen South Junction near Coatbridge, the signalbox was painstakingly dismantled, moved and re-erected at Bo'ness by volunteers of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society, owners and operators of the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. The wooden superstructure with its distinctive large windows and overhanging eaves was gradually repaired and mounted on a new traditionally styled brick base, and contains its original 24-lever Stevens & Son New Pattern locking and lever frame. The 1899-built Caledonian Railway signalbox now controls original North British Railway lower-quadrant lattice post semaphore signals, all of which are themselves over 75 years old. "Many year's effort mainly by volunteers has gone into the restoration of the signalbox and signals, fulfilling their original role of controlling train movements within stringent current safety regulations," explained Signal & Telegraph Manager, Donald McLeish. I bought this for simple use and wasn't expecting to use it for a whole surround sound system setup in my living room, it was just for the simple use of hooking up to my HD-PVR to record gameplay. The quality of this Westinghouse 32" Television is full 1080P and it shows! This LCD TV is crystal clear and has a beautiful picture once you adjust the color, contrast, and brightness. The screen is a semi-gloss screen, so if that is a problem for you, you may want to move along to a different TV, because this is fairly reflexive, which bothers some people. The bezel and stand are both made with a gloss finish, so fingerprints do show unless you constantly wipe down the TV with a microfiber cloth. One downside to this TV is that there aren't a lot of ports in the back. There is 1 of most of the common ports, but there aren't additional options for multiple inputs or outputs of the same type. This was a pretty neat find. I really liked this one. The regular guest floors elevator was also Westinghouse but they were not glass. This one went mainly to different ballroom/meeting rooms etc. There was a pool on 2nd floor also.
