To put it in North American terms, a 1000 yen bill is the equivalent of a $10 dollar bill. (Although with the exchange rate, the currencies international values differ.) That's not all though, MK's "lunchtime" extends all the way to 5 o'clock PM. I'm one of those people who can never be up and ready to go before noon on a Sunday, so we're always grateful that MK's lunch deal extends to "just before dinner time." This time, the soup is red, because we chose to have the spicy soup, but normally, shabu shabu soup is made with dashi (fish stock), I believe. There has been confusion lately about the intentions behind my videos. The AVON Soap video was meant to be a review of the products that they sent me, but other wise, none of my videos are sponsored. The places I choose to go and the things I choose to introduce are a reflection of my interests and personal favorite places to go in Japan. (In the case of MK, the fact that you can eat as much as you want, for a low price, fits the needs of a student like me, who doesn't have a large budget for eating out.)
