Guildwars 55 monk Hydra Farm
 | Hello everyone this is a video of the basic 55 monk farming build. The build consists of the following skills (in order on skillbar) Protective Spirit (PS) Healing Breeze (HB) Shield of Judgement (SoJ) Blessed Signet (BS) Blessed Aura (BA) Mending (M) Balthazar's Spirit (BaS) Essence Bond (EB) The Equipment you need for this build is armor of any rating, i would say 30+ is best in my opinion, also get a scalp design with +1 Smiting prayers. Now use superior runes of each type on the armor, and an extra superior rune on the last piece, it doesnt matter what run you use as it wont count anyway.In the end your stat's should look like this Healing Prayers 8 Smiting Prayers 16 Protection Prayers 12 Divine Favor 11 The perfect weapon for this build is a Totem axe or Rajazan's Fervor. This build also requires the -50 Grim Cesta from the Cities of Ascalon quest. Now to use this build, leave Augury Rock out into Skyward Reach, immediatly cast BA,M,BaS and EB, recharge your energy using BS. Now run toward the Hydra and just outside of aggro cast PS, aggro and cast SoJ if your having trouble with your HP cast HB and everything should be fine. The PVX link will also explain the armour and the weapons (enchanting weapon and -50 health grim cesta). Once you understand the skill mechanics, it is a good idea to adapt the build to your playing style and to the location. Mystic regen can be replaced with healing breeze. Blessed signet with blessed aura. Retribution with mending. If you fail and get more than -15% DP, it might be good to go back to town and change the build. If you need to get a certain drop, then take off another piece of armour. |
