 | Abilene High put on a brand new musical in May, written by an Abilene High alumni and Nashville singer, songwriter, and producer, Jerry Taylor. This song is called "Yuppies" and takes place in the second act. It's set in the 80s. Lyrics: Boys and Girls: "We said 'goodbye' to the Seventies, and hello to Reaganomics and the eighties. We liberals became conservatives and started living with the new technology. IBM introduced the PC, vinyl records were replaced with a small CD.
