Vaya con dios - Puerto Rico

This is the video of Puerto Rico, released in 1987. I had to cut it from a VHS so that's why the quality isn't that good

Fault Lines - Puerto Rico: The fiscal experiment

Dozens of university students are arrested for demonstrating against a tuition hike. But Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuno remains steadfast in charging students more to help close a $3.2 billion budget gap. The students' fight is representative of a larger debate in Puerto Rico, and in the US, about how to solve a severe budget crisis -- and at what cost. Gov. Fortuno, a hawkish fiscal conservative, laid off 20000 government workers in 2009, and suspended all labor negotiations, just like governors on the US mainland are doing today. But two years later Puerto Rico's labor unions are still scrambling to reorganize a largely unemployed population -- nearly 17 percent. Puerto Rico is in its fifth year of recession, and expected to be the world's slowest growing economy if its situation doesn't improve. At question is the degree of economic and social responsibility the US has to its commonwealth state. Fault Lines travels to Puerto Rico to investigate America's legacy as the Island's ruler, and the harsh economic policies that are being imposed on the people who live there. This episode of Fault Lines, "Puerto Rico: The Fiscal Experiment" first aired June 27, 2011 on Al Jazeera English. english.aljazeera.net Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com Follow us on Facebook: facebook.com Follow us on Tumblr: ajfaultlines.tumblr.com See all episodes of Fault Lines www.youtube.com Meet the Fault Lines staff: www.youtube.com

Puerto Rico

It's a Commonwealth and part of the United States. Some would like Puerto Rico to become the 51st state, while others want it to declare its independence. Residents seem to prefer things just as they are and Americans will enjoy visiting the island, not just for its beauty but because you don't need a passport to enter and exit and there's no limit on the amount of products people can buy and bring home. We'll take you from the east of Puerto Rico to the west and show you its striking sights. We explore Old San Juan, with its narrow streets, charming old buildings and Spanish fortifications. Other highlights include Arecibo Observatory, Rio Camuy Cave Park, and the rugged Sierra de Luquillo, site of the Caribbean National Forest. George Bauer, the Traveler, is a radio and television journalist with 30 years of experience. He's been a reporter and anchor on local stations and national networks in the United States and Great Britain. Now he has decided to change course and give in to a nagging desire--to travel and tell others about exciting places across the globe. The Seasoned Traveler is a unique series created especially for today's over-50 explorer. Award-winning broadcast journalist and travel aficionado George Bauer presents destinations and useful travel tips in a style that is informative, fast-paced and fun. The series caters to both the active explorer and the traveler who prefers a more relaxed pace.

Puerto Banus, Marbella, Spain

www.solchannel.com Puerto Banus. The prime party spot on the Costa del Sol. Expect to pay 10 euros ($20) per drink. This area is not called the Spanish Riviera for nothing. Expect to be up until sun-up if you're going to party here...not for the faint of heart! Puerto Banus unfortunately / fortunately has become the place to come for stag and hen weekends. Great for businesses, bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping, not so great sometimes to people like us that live here ....
