@anaminalwafdi did you know this is from a film? i dont think you've seen it or you couldn't make such foolish comments. this is nearing the end of the film center stage, a film about dancing that explores the DIFFERENT elements of ballet, this is a NEW piece and not entirely labelled as "Ballet". more so contemporary. It's an amazing dance piece and takes a very talented dancer, something you are probably not. so next time, think before you speak; or type.

I'm just sorrow than American art and taste is so in down. They are disposed to make revue and clownery of everything. I like very much contemporary ballet (ACB, Poland Petit and many others...) But from this spectacle fail the SOUL - and without soul there is no art. Just a circus.

Stop complaining, this isn't the actual music and this routine gives ballet an edge to it, something more unique than the usual ballet. I think its amazing!!!!!!!!

@anaminalwafdi it is american, but its not shit. although niether is it ballet. its lyrical. they are using ballet, hip-hop, modern, jazz, and other styles of dance, fused, in the choreography which makes it lyrical, and they happen to be en pointe as well :)
@CrazyDancerGirl not all prima ballerina's are "sticks" :) I am going into my third year en pointe, and last year i had the role of Arabian soloist in the Nutcracker, and, i dont think there is anybody, BUT for anybody reading this who doesnt know what arabian is, its the Coffee, or the slow, bellydancing one. I am working on getting a video of it on here, but my computer tends to be stupid... ANYWAYS, you can be a prima ballerina, as this girl shows, and not be a stick. i show that as well :)
