I'm an action-film kind of guy and I never used to? go for love stories, but this was fantastic. I watched it twice about ten years ago and today, listening to the music, all these memories are flooding back to me again. Fantastic film!
Probably my favorite romantic movie of all time along w/ Be with You and Cinema Paradiso. Surprisingly, I am an American and I never liked Hollywood love stories. This movie is worth watching? over and over... Shunji Iwai really drawn and picture this movie from his own tragic first heartbreak. This film captures your heart from beginning to end.
This is seriously one of the best movies I ever seen! I had to buy the dvd so I can watch it over and over, and every time I watched it, I catch something new, And understand it even more, Love the music background while watching? the movie. Superb story by Shunji Iwai.
